ASACA spearheaded the sponsorship of “Arab American Stories”, a 13-episodes TV series hosted by National Public Radio reporter Neda Ulaby and directed by Alicia Sams. Each half hour features three short, character-driven documentaries which profile Arab Americans of all walks of life making an impact in their community, their profession, their family or the world at large. They are the stories of artists, scientists, musicians, chefs, actors, businessman, policeman, inventors, and teachers.
“Arab American Stories” aired on April 2, 2012 on Detroit Public Television, followed by national broadcast in July.
In March of 2017, ASACA once again stepped up to co-sponsor the national re-airing of this program. To watch the series visit their website
