Banquet 2013/Fundraiser For Syria

<p><!-- wp:paragraph {"className":"","epAnimationGeneratedClass":"edplus_anim-liJ3d3","epGeneratedClass":"eplus-wrapper"} --></p> <p class=" eplus-wrapper"><strong>ASACA’s 14th Annual Banquet</strong> took place on February 2nd, 2013 at The Reserve in Birmingham, MI. The fundraiser generated $134,700 including a $20,000 match from The Center for Arab American Philanthropy (CAAP). We are thankful to everyone who donated time, services and money to make this event a great success. Donations were sent through <a href="http://www.supportunicef.org/site/c.dvKUI9OWInJ6H/b.8310889/k.6269/Support_UNICEF__Crisis_in_Syria.htm">UNICEF</a>, <a href="http://www.lifeusa.org/site/PageServer?pagename=syria_er">Life for Relief and Development</a>, <a href="http://www.stayclassy.org/events/serving-syria/e20034">Questscope</a>, and <a href="http://www.champagnat.org/400.php?a=6&n=2629">Marist Brothers</a> to help civilians inside Syria and in refugee camps in the neighboring countries.</p> <p><!-- /wp:paragraph --></p> <p><!-- wp:paragraph {"className":"","epAnimationGeneratedClass":"edplus_anim-2rJyvn","epGeneratedClass":"eplus-wrapper"} --></p> <p class=" eplus-wrapper">Dr. Anan Ameri, Director of the Arab American National Museum was the recipient of ASACA’s Award for Community Leadership.
